Four

“Hey you! Yes you” he shouted,
She stopped to look back,
finally the four months of gaining courage,
Paid off ! The rendezvous started.

Meeting, courting turned to love,
They never felt, they only rejoiced,
Four years passed like a blink,
Until one night, when the music lost its tune.

Misunderstanding ate the four year baby,
The guy was never the same,
The girl ! Fragile and broken,
The love was shattered, until four days back.

“Hey how are you “, his mobile blinked,
The number flashed was once favourite.
“Meet me at 4 near the cafe”, he messaged today morning ,
The rendezvous bells have started ringing again.
